Napa

In May, my boyfriend took me away on a wonderful trip to Napa Valley, CA. We both traveled a lot for work so neither of us wanted to stay in a hotel, instead we decided  to stay at a bed and breakfast. We chose Arbor Guest House B&B.  I highly recommend this B&B as it is the smallest in Napa and feels so much like a home. The personal attention to detail shined through in everything from the grounds, the rooms to the food! Every morning began with a  delicious gourmet breakfast at our own little table.

The owners, Dan and Candy, were SO wonderful! Not only did we have great conversations throughout our stay, they even helped us plan our wine tasting days with a map and tickets for complimentary wine tastings. Each afternoon they’d host a little wine hour with free wine and cheese. We can’t wait to go back to this beautiful B&B!

On this trip I learned a new appreciation for my tripod, as I had to become my own personal photographer. If you are ever heading off on a getaway I recommend investing in a good tripod. We visited V Sattui Winery and purchased some amazing wine and snacks. They had a cheese selection that just blew my mind! We gathered up our purchases and headed down the highway in search of a good picnic spot. I was so happy to have my tripod to be able to capture our wonderful little picnic! Oour wine days ended with lovely nights in the gazebo. I can’t wait to go back.
